Default Anyone know how to Edit Open Office Ebook Graphics

I have e book templates written in open office and am down to the point of editing the cover to include my titles. It looks as if they are in adobe which I don't own. I downloaded something called gimp ( a free adobe knock off).
Does any one know a simpler way to get a title to show up on one of book covers?
Thanks in advance
Jim

Well, you can right click on that image and select "Copy" from the menu that comes up.

Then open up the GIMP, go to File->Acquire->"paste as new"

Edit your image, save it, and then replace the original image in your document.

Hi again,
The gimp I downloaded does not have file acquire paste as new. I did what you suggested and copied the image, opened a new page and tried to paste it but no image on the clipboard. I just sent a PM to Tracy Yates. It looks like that is the author. Thanks again for time and consideration....Jim
