Stretch sidebar full height of the page?

Stretch sidebar full height of the page in Wordpress theme.
I need my sidebar to be stretched until the footer.
Any ideas, please?

    I'm assuming you have a color you want to stretch the full length of the site?

    You'll need to add the color as a background to a div containing the main column and sidebar so that the background looks like its part of the sidebar. Then the color will be the entire length of the page no matter which column is larger.

    Also try Firebug if you use Firefox. That will help you with the code or html etc

    Does putting "height: 100%" help on the stylesheet help? If not, I'll have to look at the blog to see what's going on, as David has suggested.

    Dear Benkleiner,

    You can do it by get into the editor menu.
    Open the css file then find the "DIV" ID of your sidebar.

    it should be anything with ".sidebar" or anything like that,
    then change the height ...
    (make sure you are changing the width of the particular sidebar)
    At this point you should trial and error to get the exact height you want.
