Default Best way of making simple product web pages?

Hey guys,

I have used a few of them, but I wanted to get opinions...

How do you design your product webpages (software, tools, resources?)?

Hi Guy
Me personally, I use dreamweaver, photoshop with a few plugins, along with imageready of course.
The latest craze seems to be artisteer, kind f pricey but I think its great for the newbie. The other is Xsite pro, I had version one and it was difficult to use, version 2 seems better.
Using any type of system like those 2, you will inevitably have a site that looks like a template.

I recently did some work for a client that needed graphics to use in GIMP and Komposer or is it Kompozer? GIMP for graphics Photoshop friendly, and Kompos(z)er for html, also free.
One I have heard of recently is NVU, based on Netscape composer, also html and free. I have to download it this week for another client project.

================================
I am taking on only ecover design work for the next 90 days. Rates are 47.00 for single cover, discounts for multiple..just ask! No payment until completed.

I started with dream weaver but have moved on to Microsoft Expressions. For the most part its user friendly and you can find it on eBay for under 100 bucks.

I agree with BrainDance,

Dreamweaver and Photoshop but was wondering what plugins do you use for Dreamweaver?

ff plugins: firebug, FirePHP, WebDeveloper

Platform: Joomla - for CMS, Dreamweaver for editing and control for static sites, sometimes use it to modify CMS templates or create my own.

Images: Adobe CS4 Suite. Favorites - Fireworks, Photoshop and Flash

Quick Generator: Artisteer - it's good for getting out a quick template that I can easily modify using the other tools listed above. Although I'm getting pretty good at making better custom themes than Artisteer can generate. It is good for creating a Joomla based CMS Site with a Wordpress powered blog because the themes match up perfectly.

You can also find Microsoft Expression Web 2 at Amazon . com for under $100.00. It is what FrontPage was upgraded to only it will do a whole lot more than FP did.
