Anyone familiar with the WordPress FORUM plugin by Simple:Press??
I have Simple
ress Forum installed up at a new site I am working on, and it installed fine, but the default permissions are not cool... Here is the site (not finished, getting close though!) where I am trying to setup a forum where anyone can come along & read everything (including search crawlers), but you would have to register to post. Now it will not allow anyone to even read the posts without registering, I screwed with permissions already and cant seem to get it straight. Public Forum
Anyone have experience with this script, or is there anything better to easily add a free forum to a WP blog?
Does anyone have a referral for someone who can maybe do 1-2 hours of work for me at a reasonable rate to setup the permissions in the forum & maybe some customizations too of the plug in? Thanks.
