Please critique my website design

WEB DESIGN

I just had my website designer create a wordpress website and need to advise him today as to any additional design changes to be made to it.

So I would appreciate everyone's feedback as to how I can make it better.

It's a bit confusing. Text and images everywhere. It's not clear what to click on. The top half of menu items is covered.

  Are you referring to the menu that has the Contact Us and Privacy Page being covered or the main menu, as I can see both on my end (except the menu with Contact Us, etc. is set on a black background so it is harder to see)
