Hey everyone! Glad to be here with all you fine folks, and I'm looking forward to getting to know everyone here.

I recently started to sell hand warmers and wanted some feedback on my web site and what you think I could change to get more sales? And even get sales in the first place. Thanks!

My site is I Hate The Cold - Specializing In Products to Keep You Warm

Very well done. Your website looks amazing. My only concern is you lack details on your policy, might as well have a page for your shipping & return policy to discuss it further. I'm not sure if adding nice reviews / testimonials from other people could help you with your sales but it could help you get trusted in some sort of way.

Thanks! I'll update the policy. Do you have any examples of product sites with good policies? Thanks.

Yea, I agree with Claire. There are websites that lets you download policy templates for free and just edit it on how it applies for you. Or you can just make one yourself. Keep it straight to the point and simple.

Do the stardard wordpress templates have that?

I would say considering full width navigation on first section.
Also on first section maybe adding some sort of overlay to the picture.

I also not kind of like the font family but I guess that's me

All other things look great nothing to say something about.

probably you can put a video to explain your technology... so they "get it" quickly.

Your website looks really nice, I have to say. I like creating such websites too using some website builder. They turn out really great and user-friendly. Thanks for sharing it here, it will be a great inspiration for me

Jack Sarlo and Pablo Montanas said some good things. The only thing I would add on is to update your blog. Especially since we are going into winter season.

Here is a post done by wordsandthebees that expalins why : http://www.warriorforum.com/growth-h...important.html

I would probably change the logo if it was me but sometimes that can't be helped.

I would take the font size on the h2 tag down a bit from the 80px say to 60px, otherwise it is too overpowering. I would also lose the camel case on the copy on the first h2 tag. Perhaps substitute the "and" for "&" and see if that works for you...just the text doesn't want to go too much wider than the imagery. Probably I would reduce the size of the image because I want the buttons to fit on the view without scrolling.

I would make the buttons a bit more prominent. Also blue is the cold, we're trying to warm up subconsciously.

I would probably make a couple of the changes that I've done in this image: http://ryanormrod.com/screenshot.png... just so you can keep things consistent.

I was quite quick about it, the screenshot has artifacts due to the manner in which it scrolls down the page to capture the site in parts.

    Just my personal opinion.

Additionally, you really need to think more about your ecommerce part of your site, because the buttons aren't convincing me to buy! The breadcrumb nav is not necessary on a single page of products so I'd get that out of the way. I wouldn't want to distract my customers from the "add to cart" button.

Also your cart and checkout page needs a lot of work. That looks like the default woocommerce design. (I am an ecommerce web developer).

You need a privacy policy, a returns policy, an FAQ page, your name, address and phone number needs to be everywhere. You need to make it clearer that you accept Paypal. You might also need a cookie policy depending on your location.

I would never buy from your site, I'm sorry! It doesn't feel authenticate enough. So try adding some social networks to your header and footer and redesign your header and footer.

      Hey,

Thanks for all of the feedback, I'm going to take a lot of it and implement it onto my site. I really appreciate it. I'll do it this week, and get the site up to par.
