Anyone know how to share localhost link with ngrok? Going BONKERS here!!!!!
I'm building a site on my Mac using MAMP for the localhost. I want to share a link to the localhost. I downloaded ngrok which is supposed to enable me to share the link but I still have not been able to make this work. I watched a lot of videos on Youtube about this too.
- Localhost URL: http://localhost:8888/wordpress/
- Apache Port: 8888
- MySQL Port: 8889
This is what I've done...
- Signed up at ngrok.com and downloaded ngrok.
- Dragged the ngrok exec file into a new Terminal window.
- Typed ./ngrok http 8888 into Terminal after ngrok opened and it said: "No such file or directory"
- Then I tried typing in ./ngrok http 8888/wordpress and it also said: "No such file or directory"
Does anyone know how I can get this to work so I can share the link?
