How can I add another language?

heya, ive created new website but im wondering how i can add another language to it?

site is created in joomla so maybe theres some kind of plugin for that?

    I have no idea if there is a plugin, but just be aware that software translations are usually full of mistakes. If you want to do it right, you'll need to hire someone to at least proof read a translated version, if not to do the full translation itself.

    Also, keep in mind that a language will vary greatly from country to country, and even region to region. For example, in the US, we speak a *******ized version of English. I refer to it as American. A classic example is the word 'bum'. It has two very different meanings in our two countries.

    Mexicans speak a *******ized version of Spanish, and those close to the border with the US speak with a load of made-up words that people from central Mexico would have no clue about.

    I'd suggest using a translation that is closest to the native language you want to use, unless your target market is more geographically specific.

    If you look in the Joomla extension directory, there are several components that add multi language support.

    Joom!Fish is the most popular.

      It's supposed to provide visitors with the opportunity to see the site, the whole site, in their native or preferred language. I've found other language packs to use with JoomFish, but I can't figure out how to install them.
      Is there a tutorial on this somewhere? I can't find one.
