    Hi, daronch
    Now I will show you how to increase page speed in few steps and it will also help you in Google page ranking of your website.

    1. Write 'Google page speed test' on google search. Click on the first link"google page speed test" of google developer. Put the url of your website on the analyze field. click on analyze button. Then the speed result will be shown for both mobile and desktop and note it down.

    2. Open a new tab and write 'wordpress plugins' then click the first link 'wordpress plugins' it will take you to the plugin directory. Then write "ggip" on search plugin field and download the file.

    3. Go to the Dashboard->Plugins->Add new plugin->Upload->select the zip file->upload->activate

    4. Return to the speed analyze page Put the url of your website on the analyze field. click on analyze button. Then the speed result will be shown for both mobile and desktop. And it is improved.

    5. In the same way download the "leverage brower cache " plugin and install it. Then your speed will be solved.

    Note: I you are unable to do so, Please give me the access of your dashboard by a personal text message. I will give you a premium support.

    WordPress is a great platform. One shortcoming that it experiences, in any case, is it can be very moderate. Without avoiding potential risk, you could wind up with a sluggish site. That is a bother for rehash guests as well as will make you lose endorsers and clients.

    Follow these steps to increase your WordPress website speed:

    1. Select a decent host
    2. Begin with a strong them
    3. Utilize a successful storing plugin
    4. Utilize a content delivery network
    5. Optimize images (automatically)
    6. Optimize your landing page to load quickly
    7. Upgrade your WordPress database
    8. Add a lapses header to static assets
    9. Adjust Gravatar pictures
    10. Control various post modifications put away
    11. Turn off pingbacks and trackbacks
    12. Replace PHP with static HTML, when fundamental
    13. Utilize CloudFlare

    The one area I always find a pain in the nut sack and have never found a complete fix for is:

    "Eliminate render-blocking JavaScript and CSS in above-the-fold content"

    if anyone has a step by step guide they could point me to that would be awesome.

    I've tried every guide and youtube video I can find but never solved the problem.

    Cheers

      Some info for you. Hope something fixes your problem.

      You could use this plugin:

      https://wordpress.org/plugins/autoptimize/

      and/or read the following and try the Google script.

      Wordpress and/or the theme publishers sometimes make things difficult by adding in-line or in head CSS instead of using external CSS stylesheets. Also, they just place JS all in the <head> whereas if building a site in HTML, the JS can be placed after all the other code, thus eliminating problems faced when the JS is all in the <head>

      http://www.feedthebot.com/pagespeed/...-blocking.html

      http://www.feedthebot.com/pagespeed/...avascript.html

      https://developers.google.com/speed/...hts/BlockingJS

      The below code is what Google recommends. This code should be placed in your HTML just before the </body> tag (near the bottom of your HTML file). I highlighted the name of the external JS file.
      <script type="text/javascript">
      function downloadJSAtOnload() {
      var element = document.createElement("script");
      element.src = "defer.js";
      document.body.appendChild(element);
      }
      if (window.addEventListener)
      window.addEventListener("load", downloadJSAtOnload, false);
      else if (window.attachEvent)
      window.attachEvent("onload", downloadJSAtOnload);
      else window.onload = downloadJSAtOnload;
      </script>

    If you are using wordpress for your site management then you don't need to be worry about that.
    Try to find plugins for that like
    => image optimizer
    => content optimizer
    => page speed up
    => imagify
    find the plugin and install it. It will automatically speed up your website time.

      Right, The major factor affected to speed up your Wordpress website is the hosting of your site. It’s important to host your new website on a shared hosting provider that offers unlimited bandwidth, space, emails, domains and more.

    Things that you can do include:
    • Show excerpts instead of full posts.
    • Reduce the number of posts on the page.
    • Remove unnecessary sharing widgets from the home page.
    • Remove inactive plugins and widgets that you don't need.
    • Keep in minimal! Readers are here for content, not 8,000 widgets on the homepage
    Overall, a clean and focused homepage design will help your page not only look good, but load quicker as well.

    The loading speed of a website is an important factor for SEO. Google give more weight to the slow loading websites but to speedup the WordPress applications, you can utilize following tips:
    1. Split your website comments into pages.
    2. Use HTML and Java-script compressors
    3. Choose a good web host for your website
    4. Optimize the images because adding a lot of images in the website also reduce the loading speed.
    5. Use a cache plugin: Website speed deceases when the number of users visiting your website increases. To fix this issue, use cache plugins.
    6. Optimize the database tables: The database also needs to be optimized to increase the speed.
    7. Remove inactive plugins from your WordPress website.

    Lemme explain you with my recent personal experience.

    Me and one my friends, who is a WordPress developer, were given a task to improve the page speed of https://www.spaceotechnologies.com/

    Step by step, we started.

    First, we checked our page speed on Google’s insight tool.

    https://developers.google.com/speed/pagespeed/insights/

    The result was 30/100 - too poor.

    We started resolving the major points like:
    • Eliminate render-blocking JavaScript and CSS in above-the-fold content
    • Enable compression
    • Optimize images
    • Minify CSS
    • Minify JavaScript

    In fact, you can directly download the optimized image, JavaScript, and CSS resources from the website itself.

    Then after, we checked the page speed on:
    https://gtmetrix.com/analyze.html

    It provided concrete points where we can improve our page speed.

    We tried our best to eliminate these points. After that, we reached to 72/100.

    P.S: It has reached to 52/100 right now as we did this task before 4-5 months. So I’d suggest to do this task periodically.
