Wordpress migrate to SSL
Hello,
I have a client that is ready to move their WordPress site to SSL / https
I have now read maybe 10 articles and watched as many videos, and there doesn't seem to be any standards on how to do this. It seems like people all have their own opinion on how best to migrate to SSL.
Some say use a plugin, others say don't. Some say you have to edit various .php files, others don't mention that at all.
Is there anybody here that has actually done this that can recommend a BEST practice point me to a set of instructions on how to do this?
I really don't enjoy messing with databases and making changes that could wreck a website, and having 50 different sets of directions isn't really helping me.
Any help would be appreciated.
