Most effective use of YouTube and Blog

So I have a blog and youtube channel. My goal is to make money by selling ad space on the website, ad revenue on youtube and affiliate marketing (and when I get big enough, channel sponsors). I was just wondering, given this plan, does anyone have some suggestions to maximize both my youtube channel and blog? Should I make some content exclusive to one and the other, or should I just duplicate all of my content to both? Any other suggestions?

    if you want to raise the ranking of your blog in Google, embed your youtube videos on the blog, and link your website in your youtube videos and channel.

    Agree with what briancbk said. I also transcribe my videos and add the text to the page where I am embedding it. I then put a unique description in YT
