Hello,
In my WordPress site i have installed Yoast to help me with on page SEO. So in SEO title i enter what i would like to show. But in Google search it's putting the company name before my title, and that's making the title too long. So how do i eliminate my company name showing before my title in google search?

Example:
Title that i enter: Blah blah blah I Woow Woow Woow I Yaay yayy yayy

Google picking up in my title: Super Company, LLC Blah blah blah I Woow Woow Woow I Yaay yayy yayy

Please help and thank you!!!

We have the same thing on many of our client sites including our sites. If the title of your company is the name of your company, and it's on the landing page and in your meta site title, that's most likely what Googles spiders read when they crawl your site.

Another way to put it too, and our clients like this, is when someone does a search string for what your business does, then the name of their business shows up first.

Sometimes we see the url followed by the business name.

If it's not hurting your ranking why worry about it. It seems to help our clients in a search string. We manage many websites and they're all ranked Google, Bing and Yahoo page 1.

I have the same problem, Thanks for clarifying that it won't affect the SEO ranking.

As mention it is not bad to have your sitename on the page title but if you want it you can go to Yoast and change the setting under titles and metas...

Just use %%title%% as the tag under title post on posts and pages...

    It might appear as this %%title%% %%page%% %%sep%% %%sitename%%

Change the second code to the first

By default the title option field will be %%title%% - %%sitename%%
    Remove %%sitename%% from the title i.e) %%title%%
