My Adobe Muse website is loading really slow ! HELP
Hi Warriors,
I started working on a website similar to (Worldstarhiphop) but mine is strictly for the UK.
Its a website for up & coming music artist. So 90% of my website will be video based promoting artist YT videos on my website. (the website has not yet been launched by the way still editing)
Only problem is as i start to add YT videos to my homepage and then preview my page it takes an average of 10 - 18 seconds...which in my eyes is very poor !
I asked a friend to check it out on there internet also and they said it took 15 seconds to load,
so i know its not just my internet connection.
Any ideas on what i can do..?
I had an idea to put Thumbnail photos instead of the videos but then when you click the photo it leads you to the individual page of that specific video. Do you think this could make my site run faster with the videos scattered into there own individual pages?
Also can anyone help me with ideas on how to get my website idea off the ground?
Do i offer the first video for FREE since i wont have much traffic on the site at the beginning.
People need to feel like there videos are being seen and gain views (that is the goal of the website in the long run). Worldstarhiphop is a multi-million dollar company, all they do is upload random videos and music videos. Very successfully ..sadly the CEO (Q) passed away this year.
