Which website builder do Internet Marketers use?

Hey, so I am building a sales page and am having the hardest time finding a website builder that allows HTML embed code ability to connect to my warriorplus product.

I've tried Godaddy but they don't have the HTML ability.
I'm currently trying WIX but their is a problem with the embed code - Instead of opening the warriorplus product page where you enter payment details after clicking on Add to Cart, it just displays the warriorplus site within the dimensions of the Add to Cart box.

What drag & drop website builders do you use that allow the HTML ability? Thank you.

Funny how you get replies for WP when your issue is that you want to use HTML , some can not see the trees sometimes

If you download Kompozer you can edit your Index page and be able to create sales page and add the button you wish and should not have any issues

You can get some good tutorials on YT to show you the way , hope this helps

Unless things have changed with recent versions of Wordpress, I have
not found Kompozer to be a good choice, as it does not very often
      format very well in WP.

Learning a bit of basic html code goes a long way with Wordpress.

I am not sure why WP has so much trouble with their text editor.
They have recently upgraded it (supposedly), but it still will
      not always format well.

If you use html rather than the text editor, don't preview with
the "Visual" editor. When you go back to html it often
      messes with the formatting.

If you don't want to get too fancy with your sales page, then
there is no reason not to use either the WP text edit supplied,
or Kompozer, just know that you will likely have to mess
with the formatting (Kompozer) to get it to look the way
      you want.

html snippet is a simple wp plugin

not sure it's still supported on wp

but it works with current versions

also most code he can drop into wp in the editor section, since the html code is probably friendly to wp today

if it's not friendly like most code is today, then they just crated a html snippet and add it in the editor since the snippets you make come up on the wp tool bar

so lots of marketers use wp with html code, it's not a big deal really

but yeah, we run 300+ sites and years ago they all were moved over to wp since it's the #1 cms today and as to themes, we use one press, since you can go full page easily

you just need to do most of your sales pages or landing pages as pages not posts

most seo programs have header and footer code boxes to put whatever you want in

we run millions of banners a month through our in house ad network and wp works fine, the only problem is on cheap hosting like GD you usually end up on a dog server and 2mb sites can open in 6 to 12 seconds, we have our own cloud network and a full core wp install can clock out at 200ms ranges, like 280 or 290 usually, but only huge marketers have the resources to do that usually.

WP leads to speed issues and old html is way faster on shared hosting

but WP is a great cms and a few plug ins are kick butt

      good luck

If you want to go straight HTML you might consider dreamweaver. Although, it is very expensive you can still get older versions at reasonable prices at ebay. You can also find great tutorials on youtube and with simple google searches, as well there are many books available on amazon for a few dollars.

You could also try weebly. I used that a few years ago and it is pretty good if you use the paid version

If you simply want to create a single, html page, consider using the Open Office word processor.

Get the page looking like you want, then save as html. OO doesn't add all the cross-application BS code that Word does.

Open the saved file, paste your code where you want it, and save again.

Check the page by opening in your browser. If it looks good, use your control panel to upload the file to your server. Check it again after uploading.

I use Wordpress for almost all of my sites. I believe many Internet marketers use it too. But you can also use Cpanel to create html pages. There is a WYSYWIG editor with every hosting agent's Cpanel.

Don't forget about Google Blogger. As many of these posts point out, Wordpress is now the go-to platform for building websites. Still, while it lacks a lot of the functionality of many of the suggestions here, it is easy to use and many marketing old-timers wouldn't use anything else. Some say it's because as a Google product, the blogger websites rank higher in their search engine. I can't verify that, but its a possible plus worth considering.

i have forgot all those old html style codes, i believe these days we rely on software and copy paste the codes and strips.

Go to wix.com the official link (Not an affiliate of wix). They have a page to their pricing. $5.00 a month. Plus they have other pricing. Some good threads about wix awhile back on the offline forum. If you ever decide to leave them they keep the domain, and you lose your site. Better to use a true domain company & hosting from another company. If you need to move you own it all.

I use instapage builder. You can drop html code in there. Nice and easy drag and drop landing / lead capture / sales page creator.

However it is getting kind of pricy. I have a $39 monthly plan and this is only because I am an old member.

    Plans are higher now.

  • Your best option is to use wordpress. It's not drag and drop but it's actually not that hard to use if you have used wix. Plus, it has a lot of compatible plugins you can use for marketing.

For e-commerce type if you are selling products then i would suggest Shopify, if you want to build your website where you want to display content, then WordPress should be your best bet.
