Transferring a websites DA to another website

by Danny Margagliano 0 replies
I have a customer that is a real estate agent and has 2 websites. Currently one of them has a decent amount of backlinks, DA, etc.

The other website, which is the site that he wants to keep has practically no backlinks or domain authority. He has asked if I can take down the "high DA" website and redirect that domain permanently to the site that is "lesser DA".

My question is, can I transfer any of the authority, back links or "link juice" to the other site?

FYI – he is paying a monthly fee for the MLS feed on both websites. There is a little bit more to it. But that's why he wants to actually get rid of one of the sites.
