New Web Site...please review

Hi guys,
New site up on a test url. Could you have a look and comment please. Any suggestions appreciated. I created it using XSitePro2. Not everything functions yet, like the blog and contact pages, as I'm still learning how to activate those.

      Looks very smart and the content is interesting. I enjoyed the trivia.

      I agree that the gray could be a tad lighter.

        It seems pretty good for a beginner! Although i dont really like the background, and the cheesey generic call centre girl with the headset.. it looks really cheap.

        Just my opinion but the website looks a bit dated with them.

    I would suggest that you change the presentation of the copy. It would be better if you had short 1 to 2 paragraph summaries of each of the software in separate highlighted boxes. This would shorten the page. As it is, it's more than 10 screens in length and I would get too tired scrolling to the last one. You can have daughter pages for each of the software, where you can do the pitch for each.

      I agree that the background is too much. Tone it down a bit. I'm sure that would work better.

      Great content and the trivia had me staying on the site for longer. Good idea.

    Your post makes me want to ask a question. You said you were going to have a blog. It was included in your requested review site but it is not in your site Your Language Report - Free Language Learning Software Report
    Is that because you have not found a way to include a blog in XSitePro? I have been looking for a way to incorporate a blog in XSitePro without it looking like you're leaving the site.

    I went to the XSitePro forum and did not find an answer even though there were several who said the are working on it. If you find a solution I'd sure like to hear it.
