Hi I am going to be making up a website and I would like to get the opinions of all of you out there which are some of the better free and not free website builders. I was looking at wix.com and weebly.com.

I also want something in that is easy and straightforward to use and one that is very versatile in every way.

It was mentioned that the free ones are limited and have all kinds of their own ads.

Any recommendations and help would be greatly appreciated.

    Go with word press 100%

Then, you'll need a great theme.

over and above that, to build nearly anything you could ever want, i'd go with Thrive Themes plugins like Architect.

You get a membership, then you get all the plugins and the themes.

With that, you can build most anything.

We've used Wix in our agency and it works pretty good, the only issue is that you can't access to the html code for pixels as for instance, but you have tools to integrate Facebook pixel and analytics.

If you're looking for something easy and not too complex, it should do the job

    My 2cents, hope it helps

I believe the word Free in web design is up to some extant only and after that you should pay money for any one to run your website.
I will prefer the Boomer Marketing App which is very easiest way to create a website from mobile itself in just few minutes. I am the user of this app and it has a very awesome features. I think this BOOMER MARKETING APP is more useful for you as its premium features are also very low.

I don't know if these statistics are correct, but I've heard that at least 50% of website these days are created with Wordpress. It's easy to do, you can find tutorials on Youtube on how to install Wordpress onto your webhost. It's free, and there are tons of wordpress themes that you can use to change the look of your website. Some themes are free, some you have to pay for.

Hey. I think that wix and analogs are not serious. I advise you that something more professional. The question is why you will use the site. On the Internet, you can find many free and paid platforms such as
    joomla https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Joomla!
    wordpress https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/WordPress
    prestashop https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/PrestaShop
    woocomerce https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/WooCommerce
examples you can find here https://www.templatemonster.com/shopify-themes.php#hash

You just need to understand what is best for you.

I would definitely go with a self-hosted wordpress site. You'll need to set up a hosting account and if you use inmotion hosting you can install Bold Grid on WordPress for free which is the easiest and quickest website builders I can think of.

I personally have a membership to Thrive Themes. They have a page builder called Thrive Architect which works on WordPress and you have access to a wide range of prebuilt pages you can customize. They are very attractive and make getting your site up quick and easy. There is a bit of a learning curve with Thrive Architect but the same is true for any site builder.

If you want a site with more bells and whistles I would look at a Thrive Themes membership. If you just need a simple site I would check out Bold Grid.

    Hope this helps.

A self-hosted Wordpress site is best, however, wix is believed to be an out of the box solution.
