I agree with teamind above. I would never buy my domain name and host in the same place. That to me means that registrar would have too much control over my business.
I buy my domains from namecheap.com or GoDaddy.com and redirect them to my host in my signature below. You need a host that will not only give you hosting but will give you internet resource tools to help market your website in my opinion. I'm not familiar with hostgator's service. I see that dragonlordcs uses Hostgator, but I do have a shred hosting solution, but I can use a dedicated server as I grow from my same web host. Good luck on your search for your web host, but I would separate the registrar and the location where your nameservers are located. Mark |

I have always found when you phone them up for support they are always trying to sell your something.

I'm using Free webhost and find that its better than Godaddy hosting space. booo godaddy.
But i like buy domain at godaddy. very cheap.....
