URGENT: What Would You Do? SBI or XSitePro?

I'm totally torn and need to make a decision fast. My site building time is VERY limited.

Which would you go for to "quickly" build an authority site?

SBI (Site Build It)?
I have built 2 smaller sites on SBI (Site Build It) and have already gone through a large part of the learning curve for it. It's fairly easy to create a 3-tiered site with lots of interpage linking, and deep pages. Drawback: It takes FOREVER to create a new page. Frustrating!

XSP (XSitePro)?
I recently purchased this based on recommendations in the WF. Looks easy to use but I haven't really dived into the tutorials yet. Have no idea yet how to build deep linking pages, customize the look & feel of the site, etc. I'm very clueless on this tool at the moment. Cost: less than $200 one time, + $10/mo. hosting plan)

Would you make the time to learn XSP and run with it? Would you just go with SBI since you already know it.

If you are familiar with the power of both tools, PLEASE may I have any insights you can offer?:confused:

    Actually, I wouldn't use either.

    I would use Joomla. Other than getting a design template, you don't really have to "build" anything. Just add your content.

    I have one niche site that has over 1,000 articles plus additional features running on Joomla.

    I can see people thinking it's not worth going with a CMS for 10 to 20 page sites, but I can't imagine trying to maintain a significant number of articles with static pages.

      Well, since you're already familiar with SBI, and you've purchased XSitePro, why not try the SBI Upload your own HTML ( that you've built using XSitePro )? I've never tried this, so i don't know if it's easy or more complicated compared to SBI blockbuilder.

      I do know that SBI is working on some newer and better templates to promote the Build-Your-Own approach. I would find it hard to duplicate the level of OnPage optimization that SBI walks you through on each step. I'm curious to see how Analyze-It would work in the Build-Your-Own Scenario.

      Nevertheless, I'm anxious to build a site using Wordpress once my SBI Site is fully underway and monetized. I've been using a local install of Wordpress to manage content and other info and found it to be a pretty robust and flexible tool.

      Aren't we lucky to have so many options?

        I have had a little play with XsitePro and so far found it to be quite easy but I would also recommend wordpress to you, if you are going to do some more "lurnin" then why not learn that and save yourself some money?

        Just another thought..

          You just put it on my radar and I'll consider for future projects. For now, I'm sticking to the two options...as it's easy for me to get distracted by the next BSO (bright shiny object).

          All the options are a BLESSING and a CURSE. But, I still love how advanced this stuff is now - so mind blowing!

          SBI is such a cool tool...but, it overwhelms me in its vastness and the time it takes to build a new page (and see what it looks like). If I don't go with this tool, I will certainly miss the Analyze-It. Going through so many repetitions of that has taught me a lot.

          I started with Wordpress, but became concerned about all the security risks and the fact that you have to piece together your site from so many different providers. It is an incredibly powerful tool and I wish I could just download your wisdom and resources on this in an instant. But, time is short and I have to get rolling with one of my two current options...both of which I feel can get me there.

          I AM going through the tutorials for XSP tonight...and my comfort level is increasing. It's amazing how much built-in functionality it contains that is specifically designed for online marketers.
