Problem Sizing Table For Images

I have images about 50pt x 60 pt used as buttons. However no matter how I palyed with width/height in the TABLE or TD statements, these image files are always placed far apart or don't show at all. I have another table with small images in it that behaves really well. Please help me with your experience.
