Okay so I just made my first website and have uploaded my index.html to the public folder on my hosting server but the pictures are not showing up. I then uploaded the pictures to the public folder and still the pictures are not showing. -Michael Dyson |

Hi Michael, It sounds like your index.html will be looking for the pictures in the wrong place. It would be helpful if you could copy the section of code that is looking for your images (or link to your index.html page if you don't mind it being displayed at this point). If your images were originally in a different folder on your computer the code might still expect them to be in a different folder, for example. I hope that helps, it's hard to know the exact problem without seeing the code or the site though. :-) Bex |

I'm coming back to say I figured it out! It was exactly what you were saying Bex7175. I had the pictures saved to My Pictures/ so I just had to make a folder on my hosting site named My Pictures and put the pics in there and it worked! I finally got my first affiliate site up! Now I just need to do some marketing and bring in some money! Thanks for the response and I can't say enough how much help this forum is. |

In general for your site pictures it's best to create a folder named Images. I mean the same folder name ("Images") for all of your future sites. This way you wont get confused. Good luck with the sales !
