I'm hoping this is the place to post this question...figuring that ones who design sites & code would know best...
I have an offline client looking to redesign & update their website... I asked for their "control panel log-in info" to access the ftp & files...they told me I needed to download a "file sharing software" first... The file sharing site they use is "fetchsoftwarks.com".... It has a free download of the software....so I did download the software....but couldn't open it at all??? The file extension is a ".dmg" file???? Looking into this it seems it's for MAC only....I have Windows XP.....I did a search online...seems there are many others with this same issue & no reasonable solutions.....I'm sure there's a way...but how?? I'm hoping someone here might know what to do to access a .dmg file through windows XP....so I do not end up losing this client... Thanks, Ken Perry |
