Default about pagerank

I don't have a pagerank for my site, not 0, I have N/A page rank, from what I've heard PR is not important but SER is.. could someone please kindly explain what is and what is not important for certain things such as organic traffic and 1st page results..

I know you have to have hundreds if not thousands of back links in order to have a a good page rank but what about SER? I'm asking for advise on off site SEO.

Sorry if this is the wrong section to make this kind of thread.

Thank you.

To rank on the first page of Google for a certain keyword you do not necessarily need to have hundreds or thousands of back links.

I all depends on 3 things:

1. the number of competing pages optimized for the same keywords as your site
2. the number of backlinks the sites on page on have
3. the kind of optimization you have for your site.

And the pr is given to a site after some time, not right away and it depends indeed on the number of backlinks pointing to your site.

Hope this helps.

Thank you for your response. You did help by answering, but I have further questions. "The kind of optimization you have for your site" what exactly do you mean by that? Also if I have more back links then my competition I will be ranked better?

Thanks.

To answer to your second question, is to do SEO on-page optimization for each and every page correctly.

To answer for your first question, Page Rank is earned and it can be done within 3 months. You can read "Page Rank: Is It Important?" Below are some of the things to note of:

- Niche relevancy with relevant keywords and relevant content
- Generating links from related websites or blogs
- Inter linking within your web pages

millhugz,

If you want your web site to be listed on 1st google SERP-s. You need quality inbound links, if your web site already hasn't some PR, some quality web directories won't accept your web site.

So, you have to make quality on-page SEO, first of all, quality internal linking.

Logičan dizajn / izrada web strana Srbija podrazumeva činjenicu da dizajn ili izrada web stranica, Novi Sad Srbija bude u skladu sa redom i jasnoćom koju traže čitaoci.
