Here is my advice and constructive criticism.

Looking at the site as a whole(not evaluating the actual sales pitch/content)

    It needs a Title...it's just "." now.
There is a "." right before the "EBOOK SECRETS REVEALED" logo, remove that.
I don't like auto-playing videos, not sure how everyone else feels about this.
Spice up your content a bit...Use different colors, more spacing, some images in the center, some kind of diagram or something...the normal customer will space out within the first couple of paragraphs.

Also, I am not trying to offend you if you did the logo, but maybe you could pay someone $5 to make a slightly better one.

    Best of luck Alexander.

You put your entire book on the front page, so it's way too long. You need to make your content a little more easy for users to navigate and find what they need. I'd put something clear toward the top of the page that describes what the site is about ("ebook secrets revealed" isn't very clear) and links to the chapters of the book, telling how specifically they will help the reader.

Like Policy I think auto-playing video and/or audio is very annoying. Nothing wrong with having them on your site, just give the visitors the choice to turn it on. You will loose a lot off traffic from them clicking off right away - it's easier than finding the source to switch it off.

I also agree with bridgerlandweb, the page is way too long. I doubt anyone will read that entire page. Breaking it up into pages might help. This is something a lot of marketers do with sales pages and they pay the price with lost sales.

Other than that I think the yellow background is kind of loud but that may just be me. Good luck with it

    Hi there,

A few comments from me, firstly I think that you could do with someone to proof read and copy edit the entire page for you. I just had a quick look through and already found many little grammatical errors that grated (though I am a bit of a grammar fiend). You may find that it puts people off reading the entire thing however as it can make things more difficult to read.

I'm also not a fan of backgrounds as bright as the yellow that you've chosen, after spending a while on your site it started to get a little irritating which would prevent me from reading the whole thing - perhaps a more subdued color?

Although Times New Roman is a font that all browsers generally recognise, personally I prefer something like Arial to be a bit softer on the eyes, that may well just be personal preference though.

As has already been suggested I'd break the website into different pages for the different chapters if you do wish to include everything - or possibly just put your introduction and actually have your ebook in PDF form that people could downloand. I know that would be my preference in reading it as I could save the document to my desktop and look at it when I wanted to, also I could print it more easily. That also opens the doors to having an e-mail address capture form if you wanted to set up a newsletter or anything.

    Hope that helps.

    here is my 2 cents.
    1) take out the pic of the car, what is the point of it, showing what you can achieve comes later in the page after you have already reeled customers in...
    2) headings and calls to action centered in the containing div and bigger than the text
3)what is with the 5 addthis bars? and then an email a friend link after that which is in addthis...
4)adsense on a LP is a nono, its just feeding your competitors
5)if you are going to market an ebook, then make it an ebook make it a PDF and offer it for a free download for an email address$$
there is some good info there, but it is generally poorly fomatted, i tried to read through but found myself skipping most of it.
a little info on a lot of different things and it skips around a fair bit, you could write a page 5-600 words on each section (PPC, Adsense, domaining, email marketing), offer it as a free ecourse for an email address$$

        here's my .02

        1. There is way too much text on the page and the way that it's formatted is not easy on the eyes.

        2. Make the e-book an actual pdf document that people can download. Take one or two major points from each chapter and make those bullet points for your landing page. Sign up for one of the auto-responder services and start capturing e-mail addresses.

        3. I don't like the yellow but if it works for your customers/prospects keep it but you might want to test different colors.

        4. Why are you using those videos? I think I understand your reasoning but to be honest there is a disconnect between those two videos and the written material.

        5. Remove the adsense.

        6. For your new landing page keep it simple.

        Kevin

Needs to be wider on the page.

    Bob,

The landing page should have a single focus. What I mean by that is your visitor should never become confused as to what they're expected to do on that page ...
    • Buy a product
    • Sign up for a membership
    • Download a file
    • Sign up to a list
    • Etc

This is called getting "Your Most Wanted Response" and is essential in converting visitors to clients.

As has been stated above by other Warriors, the page is far too long - most web visitors do not have a very long attention span and will hit the 'back' button before they get to the end of page two. If you simply must have all that info, create a special free report and use it as an enticement to sign-up to your list.

And yes, the logo is pretty lame - sorry.

Reformat the text with headlines, subheads and logical bullet placement. Again, you have more than enough content for a serious PDF booklet here.

It is very unclear what it is that you want your visitor to do. Subscribe to a list? Email you? Kill a couple of hours reading the page? You must make your expectations crystal-clear or they will do nothing.

Build this info into a PDF - offer it for free as a list enticement - and start marketing directly to your list.

    So sayeth the Curmudgeon!

    Regards,

Hi Alex, I think your content is great because of the amount of helpful websites you describe and link to they are very valuable, I clicked on a couple sites to check them out, most of your info is very informative, thanks for that, i will link you on my mainsite moremoney365affiliate.com. I never listen to videos, my sound is always off so that part doesn't bother me. But I do agree you need more explanation in your title description. I'm Six months into this myself. I got hooked in with an affiliate program and now i can do html, limited however, click any of my sites, i made them all.....
On the whole I really like your website!

Definitely wider - It's hard to stay focused as we are not necessarily accustomed to reading columns in this format on webpages.

Definitely no auto play - The visitor likes to be in control when they land. Nobody likes to be told what to do...or watch!

    Definitely too much adsense
    - I would at least edit the ads so all that is visible is the title text. No description and no url. This will make the page look cleaner. In my opinion, visitors will be more inclined to click on something that is not such a blatant ad. There ARE way too many ads but....if the main text was wider they might not be as intruding as they are at the moment.

    Good Luck!

Oh and...Definitely give me my car back.

As a female, I can say it was a big turn off. It was very male oriented. I do not know if you were only targeting men. But the big car and silhouette women made me think porn site.

      Hi!
Not to be confrontational here, but I personally don't see anything on his site that could be construed to be "male oriented" or that could possibly equate it to some porn site!

Yes, it certainly needs some graphic design work and a bit of re-thinking on structure, but porn??

And, as far as the big car being male-oriented - the nicest cars driven in my neck-of-the-woods tend to be driven by women far more than men!

There's no sense in looking for offense where none was intended.

Of course, you are fully entitled to your own opinion.

My deepest apologies. I guess my comments were not clear and for that I am absolutely sorry.

A flashy car is fine. Women do drive flashy cars. Often they do drive flashy cars more than men.

What I meant was the way the graphics were represented as a whole. The flashy car image that was chosen, along with some other images that were chosen. They had some subtle male directions.

The when combined, the overall effect was "pimp" ie porn.

Does this clarify my statement? I really did not mean to sound as harsh as I did.

I would redesign the whole page...I would delete the car for sure...My first impression is that I'm in a website about cars.....You need to divide your content with boxes. Widen your page, you are losing a lot of space...From what I see, you basically have your complete e-book on your site and have your affiliate links included..Maybe include 5 major subjects only and have an opt-in page where you will send them the rest of the secrets, that way you are also building a list, plus let them know the book can also be shared with whoever they want....

An older gentleman trying to sell me on ideas or products with the grill of a high end car taking up my entire screen is a complete turn off and red flag. Actually, I'd run.

I love to make money but not for that purpose.

Don't forget there are many wealthy people who are not attracted to or impressed by expensive cars. This is also true of some poor people striving to get rich (whatever that means) but not likely to buy such a vehicle. The car grill is as useful as a picture of a rolex watch to me. I almost forgot to mention I probably belong to a minority.

The site is way too long only because it's all on one page. Break it up by creating several pages for each section. These would be accessed with links at the home page.

Don't force a video clip with auto play. Let me decide when I'll listen to it.

Otherwise, your shared information is great! Spot on with the advice as much of it I've used myself and it works!

Best to you and keep up the great work!

Constructive critism is good ... Overall the site is overwhelming at first just due to the length. You might want to have some sexier bait (simply something that is percieved as high value ) and offer that or a small but powerful and crystal clear reason that is easily understood.

As well... THE HEADLINE... Good headlines and content, bullets, etc... should be targeted to your niche markets problems, solutions and all that can easily be found for free by simply using forums... see what threads or what people are buzzing about and then create your product and marketing as the solution or simply provide valuable content ... build repor and value to the community.

It's never perfect. and sometimes it's a combination of things that result in poor conversions.

That's the way we all learn, trial and error but always test in small ways
in the real market or paid advertising. Make 1 change ... test again, and so on.

      Hope that helps a little.

        Hi Alexander,

I think that your website will need a focus as well unless your looking for a person to engage in an interactive type forum or review site. I think that you have some great information, but it seems that you have so much on the first page that there isn't enough focus on own product or specific theme. I see that you actually have several niche minisites that you can capitalize because you already have the content to offer your subscribers.

I guess the last thing is is that I think that if I were to find your site just surfing I don't think I would need to buy anything from you because I got everything just from browsing. One approach you may want to think about is to give a little information as teasers and then offer the reader the opportunity to get the complete course by purchasing your ebook or possibly sell a complimenting product that is like a no brainer for yiour potential customer.

Like I said I think you have a whole lot of material in one place and I think that you probably have about 10 to 12 minitsites that you can capitalize on.

Interested in reading your comments on the feedback that you've gotten...

        Have a good one...

TO me its good if you used any word press or any blog templates that will make the outlook of your website more professional and appealing.

I personaly dont like reading the long big pages, if you make different pages from this one big page that would be good.

Looks like you've got a lot of good constructive criticism and feedback here. My biggest problem with the design was that all the information is on one page ... one VERY LONG page.

I got bored just scanning through the site. Mix things up and keep them fresh and interesting so your reads want to read the article and not skim through it or totally just glaze over it.

Maybe splash up the color a bit? And in my personal taste, I don't like the banner at all!

Good work otherwise! Keep it up!

I'm afraid I don't like your website but I do like what you have to offer . Here's why

      I don't like it:
      1. The image of the car is not one I'd readily associate with ebooks although I understand you're trying to make an association between wealth and an ebook business. I'd prefer an image that incorporated ebooks and perhaps cash...that way people can conjure up their own images of how they want to use all the money they make
      2. Too much is cramped in a very narrow middle section and in a font and font size that makes reading less pleasurable
      3. I am getting increasingly wary of 'As seen on' claims as I see them sprout up everywhere these days. What does this mean? Have you appeared on those networks?
      4. Having those motivational videos so close to the text is making them compete for attention, rather than support the text. And, having them on autoplay is a turn-off.
      5. Too much text in one page. It feels overwhelming...my first thought was "Oh gosh, I'm never going to finish reading this now ('now' being the operative word...people want instant gratification ) so I won't even bother or just skimp over it" . You did suggest right at the top that readers come back but I'd be less inclined to come back to a page that is visually hard to read. I might, however, copy and paste it in a word document and adjust it for easier reading. I love LRoman's suggestion of leaving parts for people to get via an opt-in.
      I like it:

      1. The great content
I do think it needs to be proof-read though and broken up with sub-headings using different font sizes and colors (2-3)

Just some of my more immediate impressions. All the best to you!
