have been working on a site for my design/coding portfolio,
what do you think of this?
i cant post links just yet so you guys are going to have to piece this one together,

Hi there, I like the design itself, the logo itself is really nice and eye catching.

One small comments is the menu on the right hand side, I'm not sure if the rainbow-esque colors detract a bit from the overall design. I think it might look better if you stuck to the same color theme (the sort of blues / purples / greys) as the rest of the site.

Likewise the green underlining of the top links 'News Code Snippets Themes' might be better in a similar purple or blue to the logo at the top. It would just add a bit of color consistency.

thanks heaps for your input, will change the colour of the top link underline, will probably just end up with an underline on rollover or something, and the right menu, was tossing up to semihide them and have them slide out on a rollover or click but thinking about it, ill just put them there, and uhhh its 2:40 am im going to think about this later in the day do domething with the colours

It's a very nice looking site. I would change the font to one that would be easier on the eyes to read. You can keep the Menu titles in the fancy font you have now...but the reading part should be in a more simpler common font...like Arial/Times New Roman or something like that. Usually sites with dark backgrounds and white text are already hard to read...so if you are going to go this route you should change the font (for your readers sake)

Don't be afraid of the whitespace! Give yourself a little more space above the title of the post and below the "23 Comments/Share This" footer text to give it all a little more breathing room.

Your "Code Snippets" menu item isn't quite centered.

I'm not sure about the text-indent at the start of your paragraphs. Generally, that occurs a lot more in print design and paragraph spaces enhance readability on the web a lot more than line indents.

Usually it's one or the other, not both.

Finally, you've spelled copyright "copy write"

Other than that, looks pretty good.
