Hello all

Two months ago i lunched my own (Affiliate) review site. The site was showing amazing results with conversions 65% from visit to call to action. After a change i made in the site on the call to actions in order to support a different tracking link for mobile versions the conversion drooped to 20%. I didn't change anything on the visual but only on the backend. Does this can really effect the conversion rate ? How can i fix it ?

Thank you

A 65 % conversion rate is a good rate and good call to action I would go back to the original call to action and see what results you come up with .

I agree I'd try to revert whatever changes you made originally and see if it goes back up.

Always split test by keeping the current winner ad or page. So that you will never lose successful adcopy. You can find a good software for split testing.

As you were getting the good conversion and you remember just change the call to action the only way you can do . You need to revert all changes to see what's the result. Or you can ask you hosting support to restore the back up of the following that whereas you were getting the good conversion.

test your new and old tracking method on a variety of devices and browsers + common adblockers. use something like browserstack. if nothing changed from a visitor's perspective and the type of visitors didn't change, then most likely your data collection is flawed (or the data is correct now and was incorrect before).

Not to be funny CC but keep doing what works best and forget any reasons why you did something that did not work. 65% is tight. The people spoke. Listen, and you will succeed.
