Hey Warriors, I've got a little question for you all. I'm looking to make a simple flash website. By that I mean the entire website from when you arrive to when you ultimately buy something. The thing is, these google web-crawlers I hear so much about... will they be able to find my keywords and SEO'd pages within this flash file once uploaded? If someone in the know could reply I'd really appreciate it. Cheers! |

Just bumping this to the top of the list again. I really need an answer on this before I commit to making the site. Cheers. |

The basic answer to your question is No. You can do some extra work to provide all of the content to the bots, but I don't know how well that works. This looks like a pretty good article on the issue: How to SEO Flash » by Jonathan Hochman On a personal note; I don't like flash sites for navigational reasons. Go three or four pages deep into a flash site, then refresh the page or click the Back button, and you end up back at the beginning. Not cool. |

Unfortunately, if you want search engine traffic, Flash is not the easiest way to go about it.
