Not sure if this is the right spot, but it has to do with the javascript so I guess so :P
So my statcounter tells me I get like 2 uniques a day, however adbrite says I get over 100 and I get paid for PPV views, and it only pays for unique PPV views... Any idea about what's up? |

The way they count uniques, would be my guess.
it also depends upon how many days, as well. There's some delay in the statcounter counts. You might check the ip addresses that are blocked from being counted in statcounter ? Could be a number of things, actually. My guess is, there's something in the way you set up the configuration. Live JoyFully! Judy |

Mine has a very accurate. I'm still happy in using statcounter. You can check the recent visitors on the right side for you to see where the visitors came from and where the traffic came from.

In my opinion, Statcounter is using a different algo in determining visits in your site and also your adbrite. If you also have a Google Analytics, it will also give you different number of visits.

Could be you're blocking your own visits in Statcounter, but not in the other.

It's accurate for my lockerz-scam.com site, so I don't know what the issue is, maybe the page isn't loading the script?

Why don't you just re-do the statcounter code?

Once you log in, click on the little wrench next to the project name. Just step thru the process again, and replace whatever existing code you have now with the new code you generate.

I use different kinds of programs like that of statcounter. Analytics, Sitemeter, Statcounter and Whos Amung Us. All generates different results because they have different algorithms were they based how many times your website was viewed or visit. | |
