I am getting ready to launch a web site business and i have a mesage board and my designer sayes there is no way that when people want to post a message that it can be screened before posted on teh site is tehre anyway that they can submit the message to an email and then we pre scren it and then either allow it or delete it? i cant allow people to post demeaning messages or derogatory messages on tis board people will be paying for a service . any help would be appreciated.

most message board software comes with a feature that when someone posts a message it has to be approved first. it depends though on what message board app your using.

This is possible on VBulletin and PHPBB. If your script is custom made and your coder says that he cannot do this then I would suggest getting somebody else to give the script a look over because it would not be hard to implement.

she is using ccboard for teh message board so does anyone know how we can pre screen messages before posting with this? and can i sue a different mesage board with better security for prescreening?

According to provided info ( ccBoard Features ) you should be able to approve posts, allow attachments and other usual moderation without any problems. However, if your designer/developer is not familiar with it, she certainly can suggest you other platform/extension. Generally speaking, all message board systems have similar set of basic features. So, she has many reliable solutions to choose from. |

if the board is integrated inside Joomla then i would highly recommend Agora forums. It is what i use on one of my joomla sites. Visit the Joomla site and go to the extensions , it is listed in there, or visit: jVitals Home of Agora Forum |
