Does anyone know how I can password protect a single page on an html website? Is there a simple free script I can use? Thanks |

If you have cpanel hosting, you can use the password protection feature included with that quite easily. Take a look at what your web hoster provides. |

Thanks Janet. You know, I own like 20 websites and I know very little about what goes on in the back end of the cpanel hosting. Didn't know that was in there, I'll use it. Thanks a ton.

You could use something called ".htaccess", it is part of Apache. It allows you to change directory settings by placing a file in a specific directory. You can set it up to make it require authentication. I'm not that familiar with cpanel but I have a hunch that the "password protection" feature is probably exactly what I'm talking about. |
