Hi all, I have a potential offline client who wants his website to have the option of being viewed in both Spanish & English. His current site is in wordpress, does anyone know of a plugin that can do this? Automatic translation is not required as he will have the content prepared in both languages. Would this be easier to achieve with a static html site than using a CMS like wordpress? I have a few ideas on how to do this but I'm sure there is a much simpler way and I really appreciate any advice you can offer. Thanks! Mark |

Hi Mark, There are few different plug-ins out there to facilitate your requirement. Here's some of 'em, h**p://wpml(dot)org h**p://www(dot)poplarware(dot)com/languageplugin(dot)html h**p://wordpress(dot)org/extend/plugins/qtranslate/ I think it'll be a wise move if you use wordpress over static html, it would make things easier for your client when it come to editing / adding new stuff to the site etc., Cheers p.s. - sry abt the urls, I'm not allowed to add them the proper way, hope you figure it out |

If the client will prepare all the text..why not create a second install of wordpress in a folder which you name for instance es and have the exact same template, plugins etcetc but use the text in spanish and have two small images in the top with the flags which leads to the respctive languages Takes 3 minutes to install...so that should not be a problem |
