Hi Fellow Warriors, I have a squeeze page i am working on, the problem I have run into is that.the template I am using has a form on it already, but the code is for Aweber and I use getresponse. I want to keep the original look of the input boxes and submit button but when i try to paste in my form code, the design is messed up and it shows the getresponse input and submit button on top of what is already there. Does anyone know how to edit the fields so when the required information is inputted it goes to my autoresponder? If you need more clarification i can provide that, i can do it myself by deleting their form and adding mine, But i want to keep the look that is already there. thanks for any advice. Jeff Anderson |

If you'd rather outsource the work than do it yourself, just let me know. I can help you with that for a minimal fee.

Thanks bryan for your offer i appreciate it, however i am just getting started with this and i have extended my funds so i am unable outsource at the moment. I have enough technical skill that i can do it myself but I'm drawing a blank as to which codes to input where. I will probably get it soon, for now i just deleted the Aweber box and used the plain getresponse form for now. i have tested it and it works, but i like the look of the other form., I put the link in my signature in case anyone wanted to see what i was referring too. I'll have to see the original form (that you like) so I can view the code. Is the one posted on your sign the form design that you like?

The way I do this sort of thing is to use a text editor. Copy the form code from the template to your text editor like Notepad and then get the code from GetResponse that you need to use and paste that on the same page as the Aweber code allowing a separation between them. Then compare. You'll see the obvious differences but generally you can copy and paste the specific GetResponse code overwriting the corresponding Aweber code to preserve your formatting while changing the required information. You only have to change certain things to make it functional like the values, names and redirects. However if the Aweber code is a script then you have to basically start from scratch. Hope this helps, Leslie | |

The best way to do it is to just use the GetResponse code and whatever form design they give you. It sounds like you're trying to use the AWeber form look because you like it better. Surely it would be easier to just delete all of AWeber's code and start over with your own. GR does offer you several form styles now, although I must admit I'm not very happy with some elements of them, but what can you do? If you're just starting out, I'd just take the easy way. ![]() Sylvia |

Thanks for your advice guys, Slyviad I did finally just say the heck with it and just used the Getresponse form for now, But since im one who hates to be defeated i am going to take Lag's suggestion and compare the code. I seem to remember a site awhile back that showed how to do it, But for the life i can't get the cobwebs off to remember where i saw it. You guys are great. Peace. Jeff |

Hi Jeff, how did you go with this problem, i'am facing the same problem and don't want to use the GR form rather use the opt in box that is there already. |
