Default Help with Hostgator

Ok so here it goes....this is probably an easy question for most of you but...

I signed up for Hostgator at the beginning of the week. I purchased the Baby Account. I setup a domain and added 10 more addon domains. I uploaded a very simple one page landing page on the main domain and one of the addon domains. I haven't done anything with the other domains so far.

I realized after setting everything up that I should probably just go for the reseller account. I upgraded to the reseller account. How do I setup the Cpanel account for each domain? Are they just there or what? I'm getting a little lost here.

Also, I have the one addon domain landing page that needs to be moved now. Do I just copy and paste it to the www folder domain name or what? As far as the other add on domains, do I need to move anything there, or are they already setup since I haven't done anything with them?

I'm a little new to this whole hosting account thing and just a little confused. One side note: I am designing the websites with Xsitepro and then uploading the files there.

HA I'm already lost!

Is WHM the same as the Cpanel? Is that what this CoreFTP program is?

Maybe I just need to find a Hostgator for dummies book. I know this cant be that difficult. I just need to know the steps and I'll be on the way.

Why don't you just use Hostgator's online chat support? When I get stuck I head for their online support & they are really very helpful & walk you through what ever you need.

Kevin, I haven't used Hostgator at this stage, but I found these tutorials: Web Hosting Video Tutorials Provided by HostGator.com

In particular there is this one for addon domains from the Cpanel: http://www.hostgator.com/tutorials/cpanel/x/adding-an-addon-domain.htm

Hope its helpful.

Kevin - do yourself a big favor and just upgrade now to the 24.95 reseller account. HG will help you do it and it's not hard to figure out at all.

WHM is WebHost Manager where you can view all of your sites and cpanels from one page.

On a reseller account each site has it's own cpanel - don't think that's how add-ons work, though.

Actually I already upgraded to the reseller account. I upgraded once I realized that was a better option.

Best Way to get help with your problem is Talk to their Live Chat Support surely they will help you. Every time I have a Question with the hosting settings in HostGator I go directly to Live Chat and The Live Support answer me 100% accurately. I recommend you to try it.
