I've wasted enough (too much!) time on this.... I'm trying to center a <div> statement and failing in IE 8. I used the recommended approach of specifying a width and then margin-left: auto ; margin-right: auto ; That's working for Firefox, but not IE 8. ![]() ALSO My graphical bullets are fine in IE 8, but in Firefox they don't indent, so I get: _______* Text text _______* Text Text in IE 8, but * ______Text text * ______Text text In Firefox. ( using _ to represent a space) If you can fix this this evening (I'll send the webpage and CSS file), I'll buy you a $20 beer! First to respond -- but please, only if you really know what you're doing! Thanks |
