I currently have the "Gotham" theme from WooHoo and want to change it to the "Busy Bee" theme... But before I go and do that I want to make sure that the custom graphics and logo will still be in place and look the way they should even if I change the theme... Any feedback would be extremely appreciated as to whether or not by changing the theme it will not screw up the graphics adn logo... Thanks in advance.... |

Well, if you change the theme, you are changing the graphics that go with the theme. If you did some custom graphics in the first them they will not show up in the new theme. That's what themes are all about, they change the look of your entire Blog. You will need to edit the Header or whatever in the new theme you want to use. Have a Great Day! |

As Richard has said, if you did the custom graphics, and if they are made with image files, then you will need to link to those files from the appropriate places in your new theme. For example if you have a special header graphic you'll need to reference the image file in your new theme's files - the header.php file should take care of it throughout your theme, but if it doesn't then you'll need to look into files such as index.php, single.php and any other page type files. It's difficult to be more specific from here because it depends on how the theme author structured the theme Cheers, Martin. |
