It depends what kind of site you want to create - ie sales mini site, a store or a blog. If the latter two, Wordpress is your best bet by far. It's simple, quick, free and accessible from your cPanel (look for Fantastico Deluxe) right at the bottom of the cPanel page. I use WP for everything other than a one product sales site. For this, I use XSitePro 2.0. It has built-in SEO, lots of wizards that enable you to insert PayPal buttons, configure (click of a mouse) AWeber or Get Response autoresponder and if you wished to build an authority site, it has RSS, photo gallery, Google Site Map (automatically created without any assistance from you) as well as an inbuilt ftp program which means that you can upload all your files with a click of your mouse. Previously, it took me weeks and a lot of html to do what this WYSIWYG editor does within minutes. It's a steal at $197. Check it out here: XSitePro.com: Web Site Design Software (not an affiliate link, BTW). James | |

I know this is not what you want to here but designing and coding it by hand would be your best bet. Or you can get a pre-made mini site and edit it with a WYSIWYG editor like Dreamweaver. Sorry I cant be of much help |

xSitePro is unbelievably awesome. Especially for marketers. I highly recommend looking into it. If you want an affiliate link, let me know and I can set you up with some bonuses if you purchase through my link. here's there site: XSitePro.com: Web Site Design Software (no affiliate link) |

I see the prasie for XSite Pro, and yes, it is great software. However, the templates are so amatuerish looking that the time you save with XSP is spent trying to create a decent header and template. YOu might try to find one of the free html WYSIWYG editors out tyhere, then learning to make simple changes to one of the many free templates floating around. |
