deleting cookies doesn't get rid of 'visited' status of site links

When I am mucking with a site, Pretty soon I gave clicked on all the links in my navigation and sometimes I want to see them in the unvisited state. Deleting the cookies for that site doesn't do the job, at least in FF.

I don't really want to delete my entire internet history, that is useful to me. Is there anything smaller I can delete to get back to unvisited status?

Thanks in advance, lloyd

In Firefox you can goto 'Show All History'

Find your site in the history then right click it to delete or click 'Forget about this site'

Pretty sure its similar in IE

That did do it thanks. I was just getting the history with ctrl+h, didn't realize that there was a 'show all history' under history.

      so thanks again,

Rats, that didn't do it. I pressed ctrl+h, then right clicked on my site, then clicked on 'forget about this site' then opened the site again and it still showed all the links as visited.

Hadn't thought of the right click menu for this so it is good to know and might come in handy for something. Thanks for the suggestion.
