How do I abbreviate the month in wordpress posts?

My site has some serious formatting issues going on. As you can see the month extend way beyond the confines of the blue boxes for each post: Stop Foreclosure Blog

Does anyone know how to abbreviate each month to just 3 letters in Wordpress?

    First step to try:-

    Go into your admin panel under Settings -> General and scroll down to date format.

    Go to Custom and enter M j, Y (check the box too!)

    Then save changes.

    See what that does with your theme - if it doesn't work, then we have to look at the actual theme and css.

      Bingo, Bango! Thanks. The admin panel didn't work, so I went into the main template css file and found the <?php the_time('') ?> tag, a voila it was fixed. Thanks for your help!
