Help on how to successfuly import a website template to dreamweaver 8

Hi my fellow warrior members,

I have a problem which i will want to have a solution to. Each time i try to import a website template to my dreamweaver 8 for editing, the images in the template will not appear. Please can anyone help me with tips that will enable me to successfully import website template to dreamweaver.

    Hi Ken

    Check where the images are referenced in the template - if it is the full url to the image i.e. http://yoursite.com/images/this_image.jpg - then it should work.

    However - if they are just something like "/images/this_image.jpg" then you will need a folder called "/images" where you have the template stored on your pc with all the images in there.

    Hope that helps a bit (and makes sense?).

    You should have html format or any design format to open it in dreamweaver then yu can edit it
