Edit: Thank you Catherine, I am an idiot. The URL is emesotheliomaattorney.com

I made a site for an attorney using the Executive theme for Studiopress.

If anyone has any recommendations on how I can make this better for an attorney, please let me know.

Also if you see a good area to input Adsense in the site let me know.

Alternatively, if there is a good way to build a list off of this I would also appreciate the advice!

Thanks a bunch!

  • The site looks nice...I wouldn't use Adsense.

Adsense always cheapens the look of the site.

I like the site. The lettering looks as if it has a shadow. Also, if there was a tag line under the site ie., we specialize in solving your................). or we x number of years in successfully ........

If you have any related video, that would be great also.

    Hopes this helps

Thanks for all the help. I won't add any adsense and I will look to edit the title a bit.

Also I will see about adding a video. I will also change the tagline to read better.

    Thanks again for the help!

The site is looking good. I guess you have made some changes already because I don't see any ads that others were mentioning. If possible it would help if you have proper internal links, rather than ?page_id=

I agree, you should activate pretty urls. Then everything will look clean and tight. Good job!

      • The colour scheme you've chosen works very well. Good choice.
      • I'm not too keen on how you've done the sub-heading with just keywords. I'd be more tempted to make a sentence/spiel out of it so that it makes the site look more professional and legitimate.
      • The left alignment of the navigation bar works well. But I've noticed when I click a couple of the links its alignment shifts slightly. Try and fix that up.
      • The font you've used for the navigation bar could be a little bit bigger or, alternatively, you could try a slightly different font. Serif fonts can look a little blurry on darker backgrounds. I can absolutely read them, but I'm just thinking from an older person's point of view. Older people tend to be the ones who click these sort of sites.
      • I'd bring the photo down a bit and line it up with the top of your text box.
      • Right align your search box with the photo and with the last bit of text in the blue section.
      • I love the use of breadcrumbs on the site. They're very helpful.
      • In the sidebar on the sub-pages, have you thought about having a background image/colour like you do in the mid-section of the main page? I reckon that'd tie the whole site together beautifully.

Overall, really really good. If I can make two more suggestions, I've found success in having forward and back arrows in sites for professionals. Their clients tend to like to read through websites like a book and putting arrows lets them do that without thinking they're missing out on something. I've also found success in having an option to make text bigger - particularly for older viewers, which a lot of professional firms tend to attract.

Hope that helps. It's a great site as it is and you should be proud of it. What I'm suggesting is by no means negative, I'm just suggesting ways I think you could make a great site better.

      Cheers.

GREAT looking site! The only thing I would do is to add some icons and directional images to draw the viewers eyes to logins, signups, and anything else. Great job though ...

Now the site is looking professional. You need to increase the length of homepage. Add more conents below.

Or add 4 columns at footer.
