Default Quick Slice and Dice Photoshop to html help wanted

Hi,

I have a blog template which came with the original photoshop files.

I was able to figure out how to slice and export to html, but a couple of little things are not coming out the way I want them.

I want to see the background template, with an empty box in the middle for the html.

Can anyone help me?

The page I get does not extend the banner area across the whole page (like it does on the blog) and currently there are several white box containers on the front and I am looking to make it into just one long one where the html can go in.

It would take the right person 5 minutes or less to do it - as I was able to chop up that quickly myself - but I'm a bit of a hack and missing something in the process.

If you'd like to take a shot, please PM me.

Thanks,

Jill

Hi Orlando,

I took a different route, just to get things up, but should probably use a slice and dice template for future.

Main site is Avenue Girl | Deliciously Digital and an example page I tossed up with an html extension is VMS Thanks | Avenue Girl

Looks ok in firefox, but have not had a chance to check the other browsers.

I needed an html site because I have a separate feedback form that was not working with wordpress.

Issues: the "home" link does not go back to the main blog, but the other links do.

Also, there were some footer links I want to add in.

I really want to get the most bang for my buck with this template.

I can offer up a few bucks if someone would like to chop and create a basic html page that wil be easy for me to edit and upload.

Are you using an HTML editor? I'm no really sure what you need done to this as it looks fine to me. Adding footer links is very easy.

I stole the source code from my blog and did some hacking into it to just suck out the template files.

Not sure if that was the best way to go about it.

Only saw it on firefox and did not get a chance to see how it looks on other browsers.
