How to get rid of WP ?

I don't know if this question ever came up, I have difficulties to find a solution via Google.
If I have WP installed on a domain through fantastico how do I disinstall it ?
Should I cancel all the files through Cpanel ? Or is there an easier way to do it?
I simply want a website to become again "clean" because I need this domain for something different.

Any suggestion is highly appreciated.

Hi Frank,

The easiest way is to use fantastico to un-install it and just remove any directories it sometimes leaves behind if you don't want them, this is usually /images/.

Why not access the directory with your FTP program and just delete everything?

Great stuff, it's certainly the easiest way to remove programs you've installed through there.

Doesn't delete the database, only the files.
You need to go to MySQL to do that.

Btw, FTP may have problems deleting folders.
Due to ownership rights (chown/chmod).
Web controlpanel filemanager is the best.

removing trough fantastico is the easiest solution . i just love how easy is fantastico to use

If there are any left over files/folders you can use the cpanel file manager to delete them without having to deal with an FTP. But remember what your doing is perminate.
