Noob WP question: How to add images

Hi,

I took the screenshot from my theme. As you can see in it, there are thumbnail places when you post articles. However I could not find anywhere how to add images to these boxes. In WP post options you can only write title excerpts and so on. But there is no option to add image to these articles on homepage. Can anyone help with this issue? Thanks in advance.

    upload your thumbnails to your theme's images folder.

    go to your post.

    below the post is a customs field option. click to enter a new one.

    put thumbnail in the name blank and the name of the image in the value blank.

    So if your image is http://domain.com/wp-content/themes/...ages/image.gif

    then you would put
    Name Value
    thumbnail image.gif

    Should work for ya.
