Artitseer or Thesis ?

Hello everyone in this forum,

I am Sebastian Nai from Singapore. I just started to blog not long infact I am new to blogging enviroment and I need some guidance as well. I am stumbled into choosing which softwares for my own blog themes. Is it Artitseer or Thesis better ? need some advise.

Its really up to you.

If you are just making a normal blog, then see which one displays your content better.

If you are trying to monitize from the blog, then use each one for about a month and then look at your adsense stats to see which produces the higher earnings. (If you are making an adsense blog then there are much better themes out there)

I use artisteer for many of my projects. Its quite expensive, but it rocks. I do most of my stuff in joomla, which can be a pain to customize.

I'm personally loving the new Headway theme. I'm not a coder or programmer so the visual drag and drop style layout control is awesome.

Artisteer created themes are good but they contain non standard codes and so modifying them through standard html editor will be difficult. If you own Artisteer then it's not a problem.

The above observation is based on the old version of Artisteer that I have tried and so I guess a lot of changes or features has already been implemented now.

Artisteer is the modern day FrontPage...don't bother...the generated themes are full of crap bloated code...

any number of premium themes like Thesis, StudioPress, Woo themes, they are 100% better then using any auto-generated theme.

spend your money wisely.

if you want to learn how to create WordPress themes properly learn from the top WordPress theme designers...there are any number of tutorials on theme creation...Urbangiraffe.com is where I learned.

I have the latest artisteer. I just found it recently. I wish I found it sooner because it really save my time.

Instead of wasting time looking for a wp template and modify to suite my project, I can do it easily a fresh looking template in just 10min.

Now, I'm more productive than ever.

Just my opinion...

Btw you still need to learn some basic on the wp theme construction so you know what to do if you want further enhancement of the template.

I would say go for thesis. It is very highly customizable! You can virtually turn it into anything and it is the best out there for SEO. This is if you know some php coding so that you can modify it or if you have some $$ so that you can get someone else to do it for you. Or you can just go for Artisteer.

I would say artisteer if you want to create your own blog theme and maybe also make some money with it!
