Hi Guys,

Quick question: I have a javascript file of a Webanalytics product that I want to load on each page of my Wordpress blog (full version on my own domain)
So I went to the appereance and add the javascript to my footer file.
The javascript does work, however, it disable some basic functions in
my wordpress blog.

For example: An outside link which I configured to open in a _blank (new window) is still opening in the same window. This is very frustrating because I don't want my visitors to leave the page.

Is there a way to add javascript to a Wordpress blog without complications?

Thanks for the support!

Dennis

If that script has that side effect, it is the scripts fault. Wordpress is not any different than any other system, ie, the end product is just a collection of HTML, CSS, and scripts. If the analytics script is creating a conflict, use a different analytics. I recommend Google's.

I've had luck putting Javascript in a single-cell table in WordPress. I'm not sure why that works, but it seems to.
