Uninstall, remove all temp files and DW install folder, restart the system and install.

        Hi helper

As the guys mention above an obvious thing is to uninstall and clear any preference files and other data which dreamweaver creates when it starts up.

Also there are a few weird things that have happened in the past with other installs of DW for other people. check this one

Dreamweaver CS3 crashes and won’t start up again | MikePadgett.com

As the guy states in that post sometimes it could be a site file you were working on that now causes DW to crash. Maybe not the size thing that happened to him maybe something else. If you remove your site files from their normal place (the place you stated in manage sites... in DW) and try and start DW up and it starts then you know that the problem is with your site folders you can add one by one to see which specific one.

If you say what version of DW you are using and your operating system then maybe someone can help further.

        Hope that helps

        Darren

I think you should try out by changing the version. Try it, it will work.

Do you have a legal version of Dreamweaver or did you get a copy from the internet.

Probably a good time to learn how to hand code. Way better quality than that dreamweaver crap. When I was young I used dreamweaver and something similar happened so I started coding on my own and now I couldn't even imagine trying to use a program for that simple stuff.
