I asked this question on a different forum a month back and didn't receive any help. I've laid out my page in Dreamweaver which looks fine but when I go onward to previewing the site in Firefox, certain elements are overlapping. For example, an image is moved upwards over the text. Just can't find a specific solution to this mess. Please help! Willing to pay for assistance.

Maybe you could post some of the code from where that text ends through those images.

Of course it could be something in your CSS also.

    Welcome to the webdesign world

If you want to make websites with cross-browser compatibility - you need to know more than "designing" web sites in a wysiwyg editor.

Just try to check your site in IE and Opera, too... plus on a Mac with Safari and Mac-Firefox - and then you will see the big differences.

Pictures (as you posted) don't show the code - that's why lklein asked for code.

If I can see the code for the website I should be able to fix this, I'm pretty sure it's an easy fix using css and a division in your template. If you post a url for me to look at it I can inspect the code, and give guidance in how to fix it.

    thanks,

    Paul

I think you must have to recheck your CSS! I am not 100% sure but please verify CSS once again.

I think there must something to do with the browser you are using.
Some of the websites are best viewed on other browser such as FF.
You must determine what browser is appropriate to be used.

Check the CSS file too, maybe there is some problems there.
    Hope it will help you.
