I think it needs some type of photo image somewhere on the home page. Also, I'd like it better if it was centered on the screen instead of left justified. Give the page background a light shade of gray (outside of your main table) and I think you'll have a pretty nice layout.

My first thought when I saw the page was "with all this text, I wonder how long it will take me to figure out what is being offered." But it didn't take but a few seconds to understand your proposition. In that, nicely done.

Just trying to be helpful: It's too hard to figure out what product you're offering. I think if you reorganize your copy into more like a sales page it would read better. I don't see the benefits of your service versus other services out there.

Couple of things - some of your text is justified whilst other parts are aligned left which to me seems strange (I'd go with left align personally). And, I'd center it on the screen but I suppose that's personal preference.

If you really want to increase sales then test and track using google optimizer or something similar.

Well, you definitely need a redesign! and you definitely need to rewrite your complete site - I looked at it, and I am not patient enough to read a phrase!

But again, I really think you should Redesign it quickly.

I agree that your site need a redesign. I also took one look at your prices and was amazed at how high they seem. You might consider offering things for a lower price initially until you get get some customer comments to post on your site. Start with the redesign first. The site seems very cheap with it's current look, then you see the price and cannot clearly see the value. That would be like a transit worker trying to sell you fine wines.

Spend the time to make the site look like it's worthy of the high prices.

Hello Emailrevealer, not really sure why you have low sales, but personally I would love to have a site that makes a nice full time income for 5 years on low sales. You didn't really say, but if sales have dropped only lately, it could be from the competition. Perhaps you could lower your price point to be more competitive, or offer bonuses that are not available from your competitors.
Not sure what changes you have made since the first post, but I think the site looks pretty good myself.

I haven't made any changes yet but I do want to center it and try the light grey.

My prices are competitive for what I'm doing.

I appreciate all the advice guys thanks a lot.

all i see is more text... the design is pretty simple, you really have to get a new design, and maybe an image for the topics you have

Make looks of your site better and user friendly and place the information that mostly customer are looking on the first place, place a feedback box there so that you can get feedbacks of customers and then able to evaluate where you are lacking

      Thanks
I made some changes. I centered it and added the grey. I'm thinking perhaps the grey should be a bit lighter.

When I talk about low sales, right now the site makes about 6k a month but I believe it should be double or tripple that. The sales have fluctauted according to traffic, which is normal in my opinion.

My prices are competitive for what I do. I could fill up a page with a bunch of instant database searches that return inaccurate information and charge a few bucks per search but that's not what I'm doing.
These are full hands on investigations by licensed investigators. We bill $75 an hour offline so this is really a bargain for my work.

The overall site looks good. The large font paragraph headers don't seem very professional. Look at other reverse lookup sites and see how they do it.

i think you could try to make it one column in your content to make it more clean.... right now it really looks a little crowded there

and for the design, first impression is important, so you really need to redo the design, not to flashy though but clean and professional look would do

I just looked at your site and felt similiar to one of the others in regards to being impatient.

While your content may be good on the site, it felt like it was too much work to read it.

I would consider outsourcing some sort of template that integrated graphics to the site. Basically branding your site with your theme...

To avoid all of the text on the screen, consider changing the layout so it is not in newspaper column formats to perhaps something like little teasers.

For example, place a few words....(click here to read more)

      Good luck.
