Wootheme Snaphot theme

Guys,

Does anyone have any experience with the Wordpress Snapshot theme?

I have been trying to insert pictures but for some reason it doesnt seem to work.. Have tried several options such as different image sizes, different locations of the images etc.. But for some reason they dont show up.

Let me know if anyone else has faced the same issue with this theme.

    As with a lot of the woothemes, you might want to try cutting down the url of the image so it begins wp-content:

    So, instead of http://yoursite.com/wp-content...

    Just trim it to read

    /wp-content/uploads/2009/10/yourimage.jpg

    That should do the trick!

      where are you trying to insert images? In the posts, pages, or the actual theme files?

        The reason the images would not show is because snapshots automatically creates the images at the right size in a cache folder.

        Resolution: open your ftp program and browse to your snapshot theme. create a new directory (new folder) inside the theme folder and name it "cache". Then change its file permissions to 777 and you are done.

        Hope that works for you.


        (all that assuming you replaced your images in the default directory and everything is back to the way it should be)
