Default Content Hidden To Spiders..

Hey guys,

I recently noticed my content is hidden to spiders (as if written in javascript) but I only use plain text/html and no image text. It originally was not hidden and I have many other blog using the same theme without a problem. I've disabled all plugins to NO avail.

Could someone please take a look at the source to see if I'm missing something please. I don't know what to look for that could be hiding the content to spiders?

Thanks,
Lou

The site in question is below
Socfx.com

Hi Louis,

The problem with your site is that you have the "privacy" setting set to not allow search engines to spider your site.

In the admin menu, select Settings -> Privacy and change the settings. See image below for more details..

Once this is done, all should be good with your site again..

Hope this helps

Bruce

Just to ask a dumb question, but why do you think your content is hidden from the spiders.

I see that google is reporting that you have 131 pages of content indexed by them, so they definitely are indexing your site.

I believe my domain was a forum in a previous life which explains the indexed URL's. I have had my posts "spider-able" but I've done something this last month has has made an error and is hiding the content.

I use multiple spider viewing tools.

I think spiders are accessing your site just fine. You have a number of indexed pages in google. And google has cached your content.

This search engine bot simulator doesn't show any problems.

Maybe I'm misunderstanding something, but from what I can tell everything looks ok. Google shows cached content from your home page from February 12th.

Hi, Yes from 12th of february the problem started. Honestly guys the content is invisible to spiders for some reason.

Can anyone spot Any visible reasons as to why in the source code?

Thanks,
Louis

There's nothing wrong - Google shows your last 3 posts indexed (after February 12):

OK thanks anyway lol

I managed to get it fixed.. I hadn't specified width or height for my header image and that was covering the content somehow.
